Equipment Types
Seaport sells and services virtually all varieties of marine electronics and a wide assortment of electrical equipment. We can repair, align and install most types of mechanical, electric and hydraulic steering systems. We do not service air conditioners, refrigeration, engines, or generators but we do work on peripheral equipment and can help you find qualified help for them if needed.
Installations
From a solitary piece of equipment to complex integrated whole boat systems/packages, we can do it all. Seaport Electronics routinely plans complete new systems, integrates new with old, and updates existing systems to newer more efficient, higher quality equipment. While we would love to provide your new electronics, we will even gladly help you with installation of new or used equipment you may have already acquired.
Repairs and Inspections
From a simple performance test to a Certified FCC or GMDSS Inspection we can verify that your equipment, system, or entire electronics package is correctly working and or meets the requirements for your class of vessel. Any deficiencies can be repaired, replaced or simply removed as best warranted. Repair and testing can be made at our shop or the location of your choice. We offer warranty service for most of the brand names we sell, either on-board, our shop, or by return to the manufacturer dependent on the manufacturers warranty terms. If there is any doubt – again, just ask and we will be glad to answer your questions.
Seaport inspects and provides insurance reports for vandalism, theft, lightning, etc.
